Staycation at The City Garden Grand Hotel in Makati

June 07, 2018

This post is long overdue, but I will make sure it gets there. Last February I was given a chance to stay in one of the most luxurious hotels in Makati, and definitely a must-visit when you wanted to run away from all of your responsibilities but can't actually leave the Metro. Thankful to the City Garden Grand Hotel, I was able to have a stress-free weekend.

Disclaimer: This is going to be series of blog posts that I will all be publishing this month. I wanted to show you guys how special their restaurants are so I don't plan on giving it out now.

Located at the very heart of Makati City, this hotel caters a wide variety of amenities to their humble travelers. A stress-free staycation experience wouldn't be complete without the gym, the spa, the roof restaurant, the sumptuous meals at their restaurants, and the establishment nearby to anyone who wanted to check-out what Makati has to offer.

Photo grabbed from CGGH's website.

Traveling with my good friend and blog partner, Ian Inoy we were given a Deluxe room upon check-in. We arrived just in time for the check-in and was assisted by the FO Supervisor, Ms. Angela who has been very approachable and accommodating since the time that we arrived.

Upon entering the room, you would be welcomed by the cozy bed and the warm ambiance that makes you feel at home.

And the view from our window is breathtaking. The city skyline is very beautiful at night, and wouldn't even make you feel like you're in the Metro. I feel like I am in an out of the country vacation with this vibe.

I made sure that I would take enough photos and memories to keep with me of this hotel room. So beautiful and comfortable to walk around in my bikinis before going for a dip in the pool.

The bathroom is where I had a lot of fun. Every time I checked-in on a hotel, I made sure to get a room with a bathtub in it. This is where I took my time, and enjoyed my privacy alone. Maybe not like everyone else, I enjoy it when I am all alone in a bathtub, soaked in bubbles and warm water, listening to the sound of Frank Sinatra and the all the music icons from the past. This is where I feel like I am just myself. Literally naked, got nothing to hide, vulnerable, and just simply - me.

After settling in, Ian and I decided to check-out what Poblacion has to offer. To be honest with you all, this is actually my first time in Poblacion and this was also the same time that we visited the Filling Station. It was a fun walk with Ian. Indeed a productive day for the both of us.

I didn't expect to receive this, but it was given to us right when we get back to our hotel room after touring around Poblacion. How sweet and thoughtful they are? ♥

The next day, Ian and I decided to wakeup early have a nice dip in the pool before heading out for breakfast. One of the best things about a hotel staycation is definitely the pool, and the buffet breakfast. But for now, we'll skip the breakfast part.

Here are some more photos of me definitely enjoying the jacuzzi and the pool.

Didn't I tell you that the view is breathtaking? Imagine going on a deep with the view of the city. So beautiful and so precious.

To summarize it all, we totally had the best time at CGGH. They made us feel welcome and loved. Everyone in the hotel is very attentive, hospitable and approaching. I would definitely recommend that you guys try to book a room at this very beautiful hotel. Enjoy the weekend with your loved ones, your friends, and your family. You will not regret it, believe me!
